Accounting and Income Tax Intern

We are a well established CPA Firm on the far Westside of Indianapolis.  Our clientele is comprised of small businesses, along with individual income tax return clients.  The intern will be trained by ownership and senior employees on accounting and income tax processes and software utilization as a part of service delivery.  The intern will be able to understand the annual service cycle of an accounting firm at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

The intern will perform spreadsheet data entry, along with data entry, and importing, using both desktop and online QuickBooks.  Accounting and financial statement preparation for income tax return completion, and use of payroll reports will be necessary in this process.  The intern will also prepare Corporate, Partnership, and Individual income tax returns.  

Qualifications

Completion of Principles Of Accounting, and Intermedicate Accounting is preferred.  Income tax preparation and hands on accounting experience is a plus.  A solid understanding of spreadsheets and various functions would be helpful.
