Responsibilities
- Assist project engineers and project managers in various stages of project development, including planning, design, analysis, and construction.
- Perform research, collect data, and assist in conducting feasibility studies and site investigations.
- Collaborate with the design team to create detailed drawings, blueprints, and plans using design software.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Attend project meetings and contribute ideas, insights, and solutions to engineering problems.
- Participate in on-site visits to observe construction progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to analyze data, perform calculations, and generate engineering models.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong academic record with coursework in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and other relevant subjects.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about engineering challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
- Previous internship experience or exposure to civil engineering projects is a plus.
