Alvarez Legal is a growing bilingual law firm focused on plaintiff litigation in the areas of civil rights, employment, and personal injury. We take clients through the EEOC process for employment discrimination claims. We handle lawsuits in state and federal court representing injured people. 

Responsibilities

Confidentiality is the key aspect of an attorney-client relationship and interns are responsible for maintaining this confidentiality and trust. Interns will handle a wide range of assignments including case intake, file creation, record processing, and document drafting. Interns will have opportunities for client contact, attending court proceedings, marketing events, and engaging in the firm's social media presence.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or intending to pursue an education in a law related field.
• Experience or interest in working in a legal setting.
• Ability to listen and follow directions accurately.
• Ability to organize and complete daily tasks by priority.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Because we handle discrimination claims, a basic understanding of race and gender bias is critical.
