RAMP Program
Description
This blended learning approach allow students to not only master core subject matter, but also develop future skills such as the ability to collaborate, think critically, problem solve, communicate effectively and demonstrate ethical practices. Upon high school graduation, students can use these skills to acquire a position in a high-wage, high- demand career field or even to continue pursuing post-secondary training.
Responsibilities
1. Case Packing: Visually verifying product flavor and folder cartoons. Assemble shipper case and insert the appropriate number of cartons in each case and slide onto conveyor.
2. Pouch Placer/Inspector: Visually inspect food product for defects by manually picking up the pouches, visually checking one side, flipping over, and then visually checking the other side. Place pouch in display, on conveyor, etc.
Qualifications
- General math, reading, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Willingness to and ability to follow instructions given to you by your supervisor.
- Be ware of and follow GMP Policy.
