The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, and maintain high quality standards.

This Fellowship will take place at Purdue Polytechnic High School Englewood’s kitchen and urban farm at 3029 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN, 46201. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Ensure compliance with child nutrition meal service requirements
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and industry regulations
  • Assist with meal preparation
  • Assist with building, planting, harvesting and maintaining the Englewood urban farm
  • Earn ServSafe certification
  • Communicate professionally with students, parents, staff, and community members

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent reaching, bending, grasping, lifting, and carrying
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to work extended hours on feet
