Description

Levisonics is a medical device startup that is dedicated to improving the lives of patients by developing innovative blood coagulation testing platforms that can perform coagulation analysis with a single drop of blood using acoustic levitation. Our mission is to provide healthcare professionals with accurate and reliable diagnostic tools that help them make informed decisions and improve patient outcomes.

We are seeking a Biomedical Research Intern to assist our engineering team in the development and testing of our blood coagulation testing devices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that directly impact patient care while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced startup environment. You will work closely with our engineers to help test prototypes and collect data on our machines and will help contribute to the development of our product pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the testing of our blood coagulation testing prototypes
  • Collaborate with engineers to conduct experiments using our prototypes
  • Conduct experiments to evaluate device performance
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments and test results
  • Process and report the test results
  • Organize and Present test results to the team

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in some engineering field
  • Passionate about medical device engineering and advancing the field of healthcare
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Able to conduct experiments independently after recievieng training 
  • Experience with experiment design and statistical analysis are appreciated
  • Good communication skills and ability to work on a small team of engineers
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate and complete records
