Startup Summer 2025 Internship

Description

Participants gain full-time membership at The Mill, Bloomington’s hub for coworking and entrepreneurship, from May 1 through August 31. From the week of May 12 through the week of July 21 we’ll provide structured programming with individualized support, mentoring, pitch opportunities with local investors, weekly lunch & learns, and summer social events. Participants immerse themselves in a professional startup environment and the vibrant culture of Bloomington.

Responsibilities

• Dedicate 80% of time to advancing your startup, including product development, customer discovery, and business strategy.
• Spend 20% of time in check-ins, lunch & learns, networking events, and mentorship sessions.
• Actively participate in The Mill’s community, leveraging resources and peer support.
• Attend the IU Founders & Funders Summit and the end-of-program showcase event.
• Option to take on leadership opportunities by mentoring other peers.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student enrolled in an Indiana college or university.
• Must have an established or registered business/startup in Indiana.
• Required to work on-site in Bloomington for the duration of the program (housing recommendations provided for out-of-town students).
• Open to both solo founders and teams; co-founders who are also students are encouraged to apply together.
