Position Overview and what you Gain
- Practical experience in marketing content creation and email marketing for a mission-driven organization.
- Exposure to digital marketing strategy, donor engagement techniques, and campaign performance analysis. Opportunities to develop storytelling skills
- Ability to work with other content creators/ interns
- Be guided by professionals and MUST attend online meetings / coaching sessions
- 1 on 1 guidance sessions
- Obtain credits if student is eligible and can work this through their institution
- Open for international students currently studying
Responsibilities
- Content Creation:
- Develop engaging content for web blog posts, newsletters, social media and other marketing channels to drive awareness and engagement.
- Craft storytelling content that highlights our offerings salient features.
- Create and brainstorm new content ideas that align with our brand voice and target audiences.
- Collaboration & Innovation:
- Brainstorm new campaign ideas and experiment with creative formats.
- Contribute fresh perspectives on content trends, digital marketing strategies, and ways to reach Generation X, Y, and Z audiences.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school with an interest in Digital content creation or pursuing a college degree with major or minor in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT or a related field.
- Strong writing skills, creating engaging, impactful content with an very good eye for details
- Ability to create compelling marketing video and literature and ability to use using AI for supporting your work
- Familiarity with email marketing tools (such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.) and content creation platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, ChatGPT etc).
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and how to leverage them for brand engagement.
- Interest in digital storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and apply it to marketing strategy.
