Data Analytics Intern

Description

Bridge Builder Strategies is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic intern to focus on mining, analyzing and interpreting data to improve the stakeholder and partner experience. The ideal candidate is curious, values work as a learning experience, is a motivated self-starter and has had prior experience as an intern.  In this position, you will work alongside our project managers to use data to identify trends for problem solving and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret logic models.
• Apply critical thinking to data collection and representation.
• Develop user-friendly data collection processes.
• Assist in data mining for visualization and simplification.
• Interpret data and generate usable knowledge.
• Generate reports of current and on-going work.
• Implement and customize dashboards for easy and effective impact tracking.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, integrity, and curiosity.
• Efficient time management and communication skills.
• Able to work autonomously and prioritize and manage multiple detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Possesses basic knowledge of data design
• Demonstrates initiative in asking proactive questions.
• Knowledge of statistics, and database software systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Possesses a general understanding of Tableau and Microsoft Power BI
• Desires to learn and use new software.
