Description

Indy Pride is seeking a Program and Events Intern to assist in the coordination and execution of programs and events. The intern will work closely with the Program and Events team to support event logistics, including managing volunteer coordination, preparing event materials, and assisting with on-site event execution. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in event planning and program management within the LGBTQ+ community.

Reports to: Director of Programs and Events

Available Durations

  • Short-term Internship: 8-12 weeks

  • Part-time Internship (during school year): 3-6 months

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing Indy Pride events and programs

  • Help manage event logistics, including vendor coordination and volunteer support

  • Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring smooth operations

  • Assist with communication and outreach to event participants and stakeholders

  • Support the team with event follow-up and evaluation tasks
