Organization Description: EVV Housing, founded in 2017, is a dynamic real estate company specializing in short-term rentals, long-term rentals, medical professionals housing, and corporate housing solutions. Located in downtown Evansville, Indiana, managing a portfolio of 170 units, including 60 dedicated short-term rental operations. We focus on providing high-quality, modern housing to professionals, families, and businesses in Evansville, Henderson, and surrounding areas.
Internship Program Description: Our internship program offers hands-on experience in real estate management, operations, and marketing. Interns will be immersed in the daily operations of EVV Housing, gaining exposure to property management, business strategy, and client relations. The program is designed to foster skill development and professional growth in a supportive and collaborative environment
Training: Interns will participate in an onboarding program that includes an overview of EVV Housing’s systems, tools (e.g., property management software), and operational processes. Specialized training sessions will be conducted for areas like digital marketing, property inspections, and client communication

Responsibilities
The intern will gain hands-on experience in the operational aspects of property management and learn how to create exceptional guest experiences. Tasks and projects include:

Property Inspections: Shadow property managers during routine and pre-arrival inspections to understand how properties are assessed for cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness for guest stays. Assist in documenting inspection results and identifying areas for improvement.

Maintenance Coordination: Learn how to log and track maintenance requests, collaborate with contractors or maintenance teams, and ensure timely resolution of property issues.

Market Research and Analysis
- Study local rental market trends, competitor pricing, and amenities.
- Recommend pricing strategies or property enhancements based on findings.
Qualifications

Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, marketing, real estate, hospitality, or a related field.

Strong Interest in Real Estate: A passion for learning about property management, marketing, and guest relations.

Basic Technical Skills: Familiarity with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and a willingness to learn property management and marketing software.
