Description

The Sibley Center is seeking a college student for a robotics internship inclusive of programming. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of students to develop a robotics program for elementary to middle school students in South Bend who have not had opportunities to be aware of the pleasure and reward designing, building and programming a robot, ending with a mini competition.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with other interns to develop an awareness of robotics.
• Introduce the basics of robotics to elementary and middle school students.
• Work to design robotic devices.
• Host a mini robotics competition for middle school students.

Qualifications

• Prefererence to be in pursuit of an engineering degree.
• Preferably a familiarity with VEX or Lego robotics.
• Familiarity with coding languages (Python).
• A willingness and a passion to learn.
• A willingness to engage with AI resources.
