Description

Life Science Exhibits is the premier company when it comes to hosting events in the biotech/life science industry across the United States.  This internship is an excellent way to build your resume if you are considering going into the business world.

Our interns are integral to our organization and are valuable members of our team, assisting with pre-event, event, and post-event responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Seeking Interns for the Summer and into the Fall Semester!  

Internship Responsibilities: During this internship, you will receive practical work experience and skill development while learning various career specialties, functions, operations, and activities in a professional business environment.

Advertising and Marketing: You will be creating and managing marketing campaigns for our events and will be connecting with attendees from medical institutions and organizations to advertise the event.

Social Media: You will be designing social media posts for our upcoming events.

Virtual Event Follow-up: Before and after the shows, you will be working on analyzing and organizing data and statistics from the show using Excel and Adobe PDF.

Additional Projects: Various projects to help prepare for our upcoming events.

Job Requirements: You must be able to work the hours specified below with the flexibility of travel during the weeks of the shows. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Travel: All travel expenses are paid, including Per Diem for food during travel. You may be required to travel by air, car, bus, train, taxi, Lyft, or Uber. There will be overnight travel required. Your schedule for the weeks of the shows must be flexible; your itinerary will be provided to you at least 7 days in advance of your departure. During a typical week, you will leave Monday morning, return Thursday evening, and work remotely on Friday or any day you are not traveling with our team to the events.

Qualifications

**Must be located in Indianapolis, IN.

Please note that knowledge of the biotech/life science industry is not required. 

Applicants MUST have:

     - Have a strong knowledge of MS Office especially Excel 

     - Have the ability to learn quickly and follow step-by-step guidelines

     - Have a STRONG attention to detail 

     - Be reliable, trustworthy, honest and responsible

     - Be able to work under pressure and be comfortable being held accountable for the tasks assigned 

     - Be able to work on a team remotely, via Zoom and FaceTime to connect often to the team to work together
