GIS Python Developer Internship

Description

We are seeking a GIS Python Developer Intern to assist in developing geospatial solutions for telecommunications network planning, infrastructure analysis, and data visualization. This role provides hands-on experience with real-world spatial data related to fiber optic networks and broadband expansion. The ideal candidate has a passion for GIS, Python programming, and telecom infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python scripts and tools to analyze and visualize telecommunications network data.
• Work with GIS libraries such as, but not limited to, to process spatial data.
• Assist in automating data workflows for telecom infrastructure planning.
• Work with spatial databases to manage large-scale geospatial datasets.
• Perform geospatial analysis related to fiber optic deployments
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts to solve geospatial challenges in telecom.
• Research and implement new GIS technologies applicable to the telecommunications industry.

Qualifications

• Experience with web mapping frameworks .
• Exposure to remote sensing data and LiDAR processing for infrastructure mapping.
• Knowledge of cloud-based GIS solutions (like AWS, Google Cloud, but not limited to).
