Engineering Intern

The department manager that the intern will report to will guidance and support to learn all necessary systems and procedures needed to succeed in their position. We prefer that the intern remain with us for a minimum of 2 semesters, but would love for them to stay year-round. 

Responsibilities

In our internship program, they will perform the following duties:  assist with product design and new product development; contribute to the achievement of quality/management objectives by producing products to meet customer needs and expectations; assist engineers and other VOSS staff with various daily tasks; participate in plant recycling programs; follow company rules and policies/procedures; and much more. 

Qualifications

Completion of at least 2 years towards Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. 3D modeling and drafting experience, good mechanical aptitude, test experience, and test report writing experience preferred.
