Architecture Intern 2025-2026

Description

Ancon is a design-build construction company with one in house lead architects and two in house designers.  Our intern candidate will be supervised by our Lead Architect and will work closely with both designers.  Applicant will learn the design set skills needed to successfully work in Revit and learn from concept to final product as well as learn to work with the customer.

Responsibilities

1. Assist Architects and Designers in managing design projects and design drawings for commercial construction projects.

2. Assist with all phases of design for concepts through construction document preparation.

3. Revise drawings and renderings.

4. Research and identify products (finishes, fixtures, etc.)

Qualifications

- Ability to create and draw construction details for projects.

- Willingness to learn and use multiple design software.

- Self-motivated individual who engages in a collaborative environment.

- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Confidence and ability to learn on the job and adapt quickly to working on multiple projects.

- Coursework or some experience with commerical construction design or related field of study desirable.
