Index results confirm those from NACEâs Job Outlook 2011 Fall Preview, which found that employers expect to hire 13.5 percent more new college graduates from the Class of 2011 than they did from the Class of 2010.
NACEâs monthly poll also gauges the level of activity employers engage in on campus to recruit new college graduates for their organizations. The recruiting activity index for October stands at 117.7âpositive territoryâand is up from 92.6 in October 2010.
