Camp Red Cedar

Camp Red Cedar

About

Come to a summer camp where the grass seems greener, the sky bluer, the stars   brighter and the dreams bigger.  It’s camp as it was intended to be – in the   great outdoors – and where kids can be kids.  Come to Camp Red Cedar!

At Camp Red Cedar, you’ll experience all that summer camp has to offer – from   playing games to horseback riding, swimming and canoeing to making arts and   crafts, going on nature hikes to singing songs around the campfire.  Most   importantly, you’ll make friendships that last a lifetime.

In addition to a unique camp experience, you’ll also find that Camp Red Cedar   is an inviting place where campers of all abilities learn, explore, play and   grow! That’s because Camp Red Cedar offers camps for kids with and without   disabilities. Although each camp has distinctive activities, campers come   together to share common activities like swimming and boating.

We offer Discovery Kids Day Camp and Range Riders Day Camp for campers   without disabilities. Adventure Day Camp and Quest Day Camp and Retreat are   camps for campers with disabilities. Red Cedar also offers specialty camps for   children with Down syndrome, autism, and juvenile diabetes and year-round   therapeutic riding and horseback riding lessons.

Located in Northeast Fort Wayne, Camp Red Cedar boasts 57 acres of woods,   meadows and a 10-acre lake surrounded by a sandy beach. All of our facilities   are completely accessible, including the beach, lake and boats.

There’s a world of possibilities just waiting for you at Camp Red   Cedar.  Come and explore!

Camp Red Cedar’s programs are CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited.
