About

The YMCA of Harrison County aims to strengthen communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Its mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

We are a fun and flexible work environment that is team-oriented and enjoys interacting with our members and helping the community. We are made up of a sports, wellness, aquatics, group exercise, and youth departments with a variety of activities for the community. The Y is open 7 days a week and located in Corydon, Indiana. We currently serve over 5,200 members and were listed #2 in Louisville Business First as one of the region’s top Health & Wellness locations. 

We offer youth sports leagues year around in soccer and basketball, have a competitive swim team (Capital Aquatics), have state-of-the-art Matrix cardio equipment, adult sports, and over a dozen different group exercise classes. We pride ourselves on offering the optimum wellness and recreation services to our community.
