Description
Are you a creative powerhouse with an eye for design and a knack for crafting engaging videos? Lumbre Media is looking for a Digital Media & Design Intern to bring bold ideas to life through visuals and video content. In this role, you’ll work closely with our CEO to create on-brand graphics, edit short-form videos, and help clients tell their stories in visually stunning ways. This is your chance to grow your skills, expand your portfolio, and make a real impact in the world of social media marketing.
Responsibilities
Design & Video Magic (70%)
- Design eye-catching graphics for social media, print, and more using tools like Canva, Illustrator, or InDesign.
- Produce scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and other bite-sized video content for clients and Lumbre Media using Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar.
- Ensure all visuals and videos align with client branding and reflect their unique stories.
- Collaborate with the CEO to brainstorm fresh concepts for design and video campaigns.
Content & Operations Support (30%)
- Assist with multi-channel content planning and strategy to align visuals and video with broader goals.
- Stay ahead of design and video trends to keep our clients on the cutting edge.
Document Workflows: Help create guides for design and video production processes to streamline future projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field (or you’ve got the skills to wow us without a degree).
- Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or InDesign.
- Video editing skills using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
- A portfolio showcasing your design and video work is required (we can’t wait to see it!).
- A passion for storytelling through visuals and video, with a strong creative eye.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
- Must have access to your own computer for work.
- Ability to travel and work within the Indianapolis Metro Area.
