Description
The Theater Administration Intern serves as a point of contact for Constellation Stage & Screen patrons by handling ticket transactions over the phone and in-person, managing volunteer front of house staff, and fielding other general questions. Interns support a welcoming and fun environment for the appreciation of live theater and develop a sophisticated competency with a modern ticket sales and customer relationship management system.
Responsibilities
- Support front of house operations, including box office management, house management, and concessions staffing
- Support venue management operations, including supervision of community arts groups and other renters of Constellation facilities.
- Support ticket sales operations, including operation of customer relationship management and ticket sales software and phone sales.
Qualifications
- Ability to solve problems in a professional manner
- A commitment to quality work
- Basic Computer Skills
- Interest in learning and participating in other aspects of theater administration as part of a team
- Completed FAFSA on file; Maintain at least 6 credit hours of enrollment; Maintain Academic Progress.
- Be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
