Description

The Theater Administration Intern serves as a point of contact for Constellation Stage & Screen patrons by handling ticket transactions over the phone and in-person, managing volunteer front of house staff, and fielding other general questions. Interns support a welcoming and fun environment for the appreciation of live theater and develop a sophisticated competency with a modern ticket sales and customer relationship management system.

Responsibilities

  1. Support front of house operations, including box office management, house management, and concessions staffing
  2. Support venue management operations, including supervision of community arts groups and other renters of Constellation facilities.
  3. Support ticket sales operations, including operation of customer relationship management and ticket sales software and phone sales.

Qualifications

  1. Ability to solve problems in a professional manner
  2. A commitment to quality work
  3. Basic Computer Skills
  4. Interest in learning and participating in other aspects of theater administration as part of a team
  5. Completed FAFSA on file; Maintain at least 6 credit hours of enrollment; Maintain Academic Progress.
  6. Be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
