The Jefferson County Public Library provides the opportunity: to obtain and use information in a wide variety of formats; to pursue lifelong learning; to explore recreational interests; and to better understand personal and regional heritage. The library is located in Madison, Indiana just blocks away from the Ohio River.  We circulate books, audiobooks, dvds, video games, tablets and more. Jefferson County Public Library uses Evergreen to circulate materials and also offers online borrowing services including Overdrive and Hoopla. Our main library is in beautiful historic downtown Madison and we also have a branch library in Hanover, IN near the Hanover College campus.
