Description

The Data Compliance & Reporting Intern will support the organization by ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and quality across all departments utilizing our ETO data tracking system. This role involves monitoring data integrity, generating reports, troubleshooting user issues, and maintaining compliance with external regulations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in data management, quality assurance, and reporting systems, making it an excellent opportunity for students or individuals pursuing careers in data administration, compliance, or analytics.

Responsibilities

 

Assist in maintaining data quality and compliance standards across departments to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Monitor and support the organization’s data management plan, helping to identify and correct reporting errors. 

Participate in discussions on key data points (e.g., demographics, perceptions, processes, and program outcomes). 

Generate, analyze, and present data reports to assist decision-making. 

Maintain and manage user accounts and password access for data systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve user issues with data entry and reporting platforms.

Support the implementation of quality assurance processes to improve data integrity. 

Qualifications

 

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field. 

Experience or coursework in data entry, compliance, or quality management is a plus. 

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data software. 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct data discrepancies.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams. 

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. 

Multilingual skills (Spanish or French) are a plus.
