Description

The Intern will gain valuable experience and contacts in Marketing and Public Relations through administrative functions within the Museum. Maintaining and growing our print and online exposure. 

We are seeking an intrern to help boost our social media footprint, further our community outreach,  and help with our fundraising and marketing.

THIS IS A UNPAID INTERNSHIP. YOU MAY ALSO RECEIVE SCHOOL CREDIT (varies by school).

Selected interns may start immediately.

Responsibilities

Conduct destination, pop culture, and social media research

Create and syndicate content calendars

Research and create target lists for influencer outreach

Assist with writing blogs, end-of-month reporting, and special event logistics as needed

Identify and monitor social media trends

Research for new business presentations and proposals

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2.5 cumulative GPA

Detail-oriented and team player

MAC OS, PC, and Microsoft Office proficiency

Desire to learn about non-profit administration

Basic knowledge of popular social media platforms

Excellent writing and communication skills

A go-getter with a positive and goal-oriented attitude

Experience with design programs such as Photoshop a plus
